Privacy Policy

Last updated: 24 July 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Digital Invoicing ("Digital Invoicing", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information in connection with our website at digitalinvoicing.co and our FBR-compliant digital invoicing and point-of-sale software (together, the "Service"). It applies to businesses and individuals who visit our website or use the Service ("you").

By accessing the website or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Service.

1. Who we are

Digital Invoicing operates the Service and acts as the controller of the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at hi@digitalinvoicing.co or by post at MM Alam Road, Lahore, Pakistan.

2. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Information you provide. Name, business name, email address, phone number, login credentials, and business and tax identifiers such as your NTN and STRN that are required to register and file with the Federal Board of Revenue ("FBR").
  • Invoice and transaction data. The content of the invoices and sales you process through the Service — including buyer and seller details, line items, quantities, prices, and tax amounts — which we process in order to generate FBR e-invoices, IRNs, and QR codes.
  • Billing information. Plan selection and payment details necessary to bill you (payment card data, where applicable, is handled by our payment processors and not stored by us).
  • Technical and usage data. IP address, device and browser type, operating system, access times, pages viewed, and diagnostic and log data generated when you use the Service.
  • Cookies and similar technologies. Small data files used to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the website is used.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

  • provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including submitting invoices to FBR and returning IRNs and QR codes;
  • authenticate users, secure accounts, and prevent fraud and abuse;
  • process payments and administer your subscription;
  • provide customer support and respond to your enquiries;
  • monitor, troubleshoot, and improve the Service;
  • send service, security, and administrative communications; and
  • comply with applicable law, tax and record-keeping obligations, and lawful requests from public authorities.

4. Legal grounds for processing

We process personal data where it is necessary to perform our contract with you, to comply with a legal obligation (including tax and record-keeping laws), for our legitimate business interests in operating and improving the Service, or on the basis of your consent where required.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only as described below:

  • With FBR. Invoice and related tax data is transmitted to FBR’s systems as an inherent and necessary part of e-invoicing and to make each invoice compliant.
  • With service providers. We use trusted third parties for hosting, infrastructure, analytics, communications, and payment processing. They may process data only on our instructions and under confidentiality obligations.
  • For legal reasons. We may disclose information where required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Digital Invoicing, our users, or others.
  • Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

6. Data hosting and international transfers

Your information may be stored and processed on servers located within or outside Pakistan, including by our service providers. Where information is transferred across borders, we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected in line with this policy.

7. Data retention

We retain personal, invoice, and compliance data for as long as your account is active and thereafter for as long as necessary to provide the Service, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and comply with our legal, tax, and record-keeping obligations. Tax-related records may be retained for the statutory periods required under applicable Pakistani law even after your account is closed.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot and do not guarantee the absolute security of your information. You use the Service and transmit information at your own risk, and you are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.

9. Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law and to our legal record-keeping obligations, you may request to access, correct, update, or delete personal data we hold about you, and you may opt out of non-essential marketing communications at any time. To make a request, email hi@digitalinvoicing.co. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and some data must be retained where the law requires it.

10. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the website, keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect how the website functions.

11. Third-party links

The website may contain links to third-party websites and services, including FBR. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those third parties, and this policy does not apply to them.

12. Children

The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
